2026 Gemini Calendar

Calendar

Promotional

Photography

The first company-produced calendar featuring photography of Gemini Inc. project installations from within the past two years. This project gave clients the opportunity to showcase their collaboration with Gemini to other company partners and promote their businesses.

Overview

The project began as a photo submission contest for clients to feature their work with Gemini on a calendar. As the project lead, I was responsible for designing the entire calendar and finalizing the working files. The calendar was distributed both internally and to current Gemini partners.

Objective

This project was launched in an effort to keep clients engaged with the company and ensure their partnership feels worthwhile. It was also an opportunity to collect more assets for Gemini, as they sought to expand their image gallery.

Design Process

All colors and typefaces used in this project are core elements of Gemini’s brand identity.

The angular elements behind the captions and month labels subtly reinforces the notion that the calendar is produced by Gemini. They also function as a complement to the company logo.

Frutiger LT is Gemini’s utility typeface, with 45 light and regular used for readability. I chose 45 light for a majority of the content as it was less distracting and accentuated the bold text. 65 bold highlighted partner names, and 46 light italic was used to distinguish project descriptions.

DDC Hardware’s bold, geometric appearance made it a strong choice for headers, particularly when placed over Gemini’s signature red or black.

Final Outcome

The final outcome is a Gemini Inc. branded calendar featuring photos curated from a collection of over 100 submissions from participating partners.

This project provided me with insight into taking the lead on a project in a company setting. By setting up checkpoint meetings with supervisors and creating personal deadlines, the project was sent out to recipients ahead of schedule.
