The 625 Bar & Grill was a small town family-friendly restaurant located in Dennison, MN. From 2023 to 2025, the owners grew it into an oasis that hosted traditional homemade bar food and an assortment of exciting activities.
A majority of the customers were people middle-aged or older. Reading can become more difficult as people get older, especially on screens. By creating a website with easy navigation and legible type, the site is more accessible.
The website adopted the established name and aesthetic of the 625 Bar & Grill, with the logomark matching the primary logo.
Montserrat was chosen as body copy for its readability. The blocky, old-school form of NCAA Marquette Bold made it perfect for headers. Lobster Two was chosen for the menu to make the design more visually interesting and playful.
The color palette used the blue from the logo alongside a dark blue for drop shadow and type. A sky blue was used for buttons to add variety while staying consistent with the branding.

The final outcome was a responsive website that reflected the restaurant's brand identity and embodied an engaging aesthetic.
Throughout this project I learned that the envisioned design often undergoes last minute changes to meet a client's needs.
